Development Executive

Based at our Corporate Office in Singapore, we are looking for a passionate and energetic individual to join us as Development Executive.


Job Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for supporting the market and financial feasibility analysis of all potential deals and also to support any corporate reporting initiatives for the growth and development department. The candidate will be exposed to the development activities of new businesses globally and get to work on management and investment deals from the pitching stage right to contract conclusion.


The Role:

  • To conduct, collate, maintain and disseminate findings from market research studies, statistics, inbound visitor arrival statistics, competitors’ performance and historical transaction information.
  • To prepare market feasibility reports and financial feasibility studies for potential management deals.
  • To support the review and evaluation process of feasibility and ‘return-on-investment’ studies for potential acquisition deals, and provide concise analytical reports and make recommendations to the management.
  • Custodian of the deals tracking database saleforce.com and updating of new deals recordings and ensuring all information are concise and up-to-date.
  • To refine presentation materials and ensure all templates and information are updated.
  • To work with various internal departments for the preparation of new deals proposals.
  • To ensure internal approvals on marketing and financial projections are received for all potential deals.
  • To engage external consultants, agencies and potential business partners for new deals.
  • To participate in other various projects requiring analytical support or business acumen to support and assist with decision making by various stakeholders from time to time as directed by the Head of Development.
  • Any other duties as assigned by Vice President, Development.

The Person:

  • Minimum 1 year of working experience in either an analyst or consultancy role in a hospitality or real estate related field.
  • Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Possess a good business-related degree from a recognised institution with strong emphasis on either Hospitality Management, Finance or Real Estate.
  • Analytical with strong problem solving skills.
  • Competent in oral & written communication in both English and Mandarin.
  • Alert with high level of attentiveness to details.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills.
  • Strong Business Acumen.
  • Possesses strong planning & evaluation ability.
  • A team player with high integrity.
