Digital Marketing Manager (Content and Social Media)

Based at our Corporate Office in Singapore, we are looking for a passionate and energetic individual to join us as Digital Marketing Manager (Content and Social Media).

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Digital Marketing Director, the Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for shaping the creation and distribution of editorial content that will aid in achieving strong engagement on social media channels. He / She will also be required to align the hotels in the group towards the group’s social media objectives.

The Role:

  • Implement social media strategy, coordinate and provide consultation to stakeholders across the group to ensure its effectiveness and encourage adoption of relevant SEO techniques on social media platforms across the hotels in the group.
  • Create and enforce the standard operating procedures and policies for managing social media platforms
  • Work with the appointed agency in the creation and distribution of editorial content assets to support brand awareness and SEO objectives, whilst ensuring content created is aligned to our respective brands’ guidelines
  • Provide the strategic direction, and work with the relevant parties to maximize our on-site and offsite social media optimization.
  • Manage ad-hoc social campaigns initiated by corporate team
  • Manage brand social media profiles  
  • Work with the website development team to ensure social media tools and editorial content assets created can be displayed on the brand website
  • Monitor trends in social media, using the information gained to create fresh, consumer friendly content
  • Monitor, analyse and set effective benchmarks to measure the impact of editorial content assets created, and use the findings to create content assets of similar value
  • Provide training and share best practice insights aimed at developing social signal growth competency across the hotels in the group

The Person:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in digital communications/marketing (Preferably in the travel and hospitality industry)
  • Candidates with website analytics tools (Google Analytics) and content writing experience will be of advantage
  • Possess strong negotiation skills and is able to lead and manage the appointed agencies
  • Abreast with the current digital trends and online marketing channels
  • Possess in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants and know when and how they can be deployed
  • Experienced in brand marketing in an online environment and lead generation for ecommerce companies
  • A highly energetic and self-motivated individual who is a well-rounded marketer and implementer
  • A team player who is able to take the lead and guide other departments when necessary
  • Able to multi tasks, prioritize and adhere to deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to take on the role as an advocate, change management agent and share best practices at hotel level
  • Able to manage complexities and think “out of the box”
