Pan Pacific Hotels Group appoints Dean Rossilli as General Manager of Pan Pacific Orchard after the hotel's S$10million rejuvenation
Singapore, 13 December 2012 – Pan Pacific Hotels Group has appointed Dean Rossilli as the new General Manager of Pan Pacific Orchard in Singapore.
As part of the Group's brand refreshment journey, the 206-room hotel recently underwent a S$10 million rejuvenation of its guest rooms, restaurants and facilities to align the guest experience to the refreshed Pan Pacific proposition. In his new role, Dean will lead the hotel team to achieve new targets in customer sales, guest satisfaction and associate engagement.
An Australia, Dean has more than 20 years of industry experience in Malaysia, Australia, United States and United Kingdom, where he oversaw diverse operational units at luxury hotels, covering the areas of Sales and Marketing, Reservation and Revenue, Rooms Division as well as Operations.
Dean began his hospitality career in Australia under Sheraton and in the United States under Renaissance Hotels and Resorts. He then moved on to the MacDonald Hotels and Marriott Hotels in the United Kingdom where most significantly, he steered several extensive refurbishment projects with much success in his various capacities as General Manager, Operations Manager and Rooms Division Manager.
Prior to joining Pan Pacific Hotels Group, Dean was Regional General Manager of Thistle/Guoman Hotels and Resorts in Malaysia, where he assumed critical responsibilities that included the evaluation of hotel investment opportunities; development and monitoring of financial and operations plans; as well as overseeing marketing, media relations, community engagement and human resources for the Group's hotels across the country. Under his leadership, these establishments won several accolades from the Malaysian Ministry of Tourism.
